Items to be washed must be reachable with a 1-step ladder; otherwise, a dusting extension will be used. We do not climb higher than a 1-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension duster. Most offices have at least one vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand.

We clean both sides of double-hung windows (windows that easily open indoors). If we cannot open a window or if a screen protector blocks it, we cannot clean the outside. Windows must be accessible before the technician arrives. We clean the windows in place and do not remove any screen protectors from the window. For extensive window cleaning or hard-to-reach windows, we recommend booking a professional window cleaning company. 

Blinds are dusted and/or vacuumed in place. We do not hand-wash or remove blinds. For deep cleaning of blinds, a blind cleaning company that has an electrostatic blind cleaner or similar would be the best option.

Standard cleaning rates for the inside of the refrigerator apply. If you opt for recurring cleaning, we offer a discounted price for the interior of the fridge after it has been thoroughly deep-cleaned by our staff. 

Please let us know if you need food thrown out for each cleaning. We do not make judgment calls as they can cause miscommunication! We either empty the entire fridge as directed or leave the food items for the office staff to throw away. 

We clean items in place to reduce the risk of breakage. We do not move furniture; however, if you want underneath the furniture cleaned, you may leave it moved before the appointment so our cleaning technicians can clean under it. We try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.

Trash bins are to be made available and accessible on site. Our cleaning services include removing trash from your office and relining the trash bins. Our technicians are not able to take the trash off-site with them.

Please note that recycling items or items to be shredded will not be handled during our office cleaning services.

Life Maid Easy will provide all cleaning supplies unless the client notes otherwise. Clients must provide their own:

• toilet brushes (to prevent cross-contamination)
• trash liners
• paper towels (to prevent cross-contamination)

Each office client should have paper towels, a toilet brush, and trash liners readily available.

If your home requires more cleaning time than expected—such as if the dirt level is heavier than described—our technicians will notify us, and we will contact you to discuss any additional costs before proceeding.
